Hi, today I've downloaded the Slideshow script from your website. I've configured it so that it suits with my needs. I've found that something is not working right in createLayer() function.

1 - There's a part of the function where you resize the thumbnails to the size indicated in the variables var thImgHght and thWdth, well there I 've found the first problem. Opera 9+ resizes the thumbs correctly but IE6 does not. For example: I have some thumbs which sizes are 100x100 for all, I want the script to resize them to 80x80, when I check in Opera, ALL thumbs appear resized(from 100x100 to 80x80), but on the other hand when I check on Internet Explorer they are still at 100x100!!!

2- If I want to use the vertical scrolling, the thumbs continue appearing one next to the other (as if I am going to use a horizontal scroll) instead of appearing one beneath the other, that's the sense of vertical scrolling. NOTE: This happens in both IE and Opera.

Those are my problems, I haven't checked the script very deeply yet, but I wanted to share this with you, perhaps I'm missing some lines of code where both problems can be solved.

I'd appreciate your help, it would be great if I can solve these.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for taking a look at my script. To be honest, I haven't messed with it for a while so I'm sure there are some things that I did not account for in the newer browsers out there. I don't have Opera, so maybe you can help me test the script on that once I have a chance to look at it. I added on the vertical scrolling a bit hastily, so I'll take a deeper look at what's going on with the thumbnails appearing side by side. Do you have a page online that demonstrates these errors?

Thanks

Thanks for the quick answer! I have no problems in lending a hand for testing purposes with newer browsers.

For now I don't have an online page, but I can get you one if you like. I'm working on a sales manual for some Tourism Agencies entirely constructed in DHTML and PHP, so imagine as I am on the developing phase yet, I'm working and testing everything locally.

Let me know when you have taken a look at the script and if you need anything to help you debugging it.

Regards!

PS: You thanked me for looking at your script but I really have to thank you for programming it, you have no idea of how much time I wasted in searching for a nice and suitable image scroll/slideshow until I finally get here. Thnxs dude Punker
